Worst Experiences Of Online Payment In Nepal 1

Online payments are quite common these days. Recharging mobile balance, buying air tickets, getting new equipment from online stores are mostly done through online transaction. It is getting in our country as well. The main reason is that it saves our time. People are busy than before, so they want to preserve time. Online payments available in Nepal are mobile banking, internet banking, online mobile wallet like esewa, ipay.

I have few worst experiences while doing the online transaction in Nepal. Instead of saving my time, it ended up using my extra time. So I would like to share those experiences in this post.

RBB MOBILE SMS TRANSFER OF RS 1 LAKH

A month ago, I sent an amount of one lakh to my friend through RBB ( Rashtriya Banigya Bank ) SMS banking service. As transaction of one lakh was not possible, I had to send twenty thousand for five times. The SMS delivered had shown that five transactions were completed. Next day, I called the friend and knew that only four of five transactions completed. After calling to RBB help center, I knew that I had to go to Nearby branch Office and write an application. I met an inquiry officer in branch office whom I informed about it. He told me to visit after few days. First, two visits were the total waste of time nothing happened. On the third visit, the transaction completed. It took me a week to get my own money back.

ESEWA TRANSACTION OF RS 1400 FOR DOMAIN REGISTRATION TO OHODOMAIN

I paid through esewa online wallet to ohodomain. The payment was pending for almost one week. I asked ohodomain about payment. Surprisingly, they were unknown about it. At same time esewa upgraded the website so I could not see my previous statement. I reported this to esewa. They tried to solved it but took nearly one week.

NET TV RECHARGE OF RS 100

I recharged Rs 100 from esewa to Net tv account. The transaction completed, but there wasn’t balance on net tv account. I emailed it to net tv and got balance after three days.

These were my experiences of using online payments. I did not lose my money but time. When you make a big online payment, always think twice. If you face problems on that, you may go crazy dealing with online service providers.
